Second chance ministries

Second Chance Ministries mission is to walk along side men and women released from incarceration into Campbell County. Our mission is to provide re-entry assistance, during the first 4 months after release, to our clients and to help rebuild their lives through a transformation of hearts and minds through Jesus Christ, as demonstrated by our actions and kindness. While Second Chance Ministries is a faith based ministry, we do not refuse services to anyone meeting our criteria.

One out of every 31 American adults is in jail, prison, on parole, or on probation. Offenders are returning to their neighborhood at a rate of 1,400 a day. In 2005, almost 699,000 prisoners were released. Many prisoners are released without any housing, employment, mental or medical health services, and without any support. It is Second Chance Ministries’ goal to fill this void and meet the needs of those prisoners released into Campbell County. Now visit the Information page

“Feed the hungry, clothe the naked, welcome the stranger, visit the incarcerated, and ‘visit the least of these.’ ”
